GTA 6 trophies coming soon
PlayStation and Xbox have not published the GTA 6 trophy list yet. It usually appears a few days before launch, and it goes up here the same day, straight from the store data.
Series history
Trophies in GTA IV, GTA V and RDR2
| Game | Year | Platinum | What the list covers |
|---|---|---|---|
| GTA IV | 2008 | No | Several trophies need online multiplayer. |
| GTA V | 2013 | Yes | Story, side activities and GTA Online trophies. Cheats switch trophies off for that session. |
| Red Dead Redemption 2 | 2018 | Yes | Story, hunting and challenge trophies. Many cheats switch trophies off while active. |
The pattern: the story gives most trophies on its own, side activities and collectibles fill out the rest, and the platinum asks for patience more than skill. GTA V also put online trophies in the main list, which made its platinum depend on GTA Online.

Hunting the platinum? Three things to do on day one
- Keep cheats for a separate save. In GTA 5 one cheat switched trophies off for the whole session. Until GTA 6’s rule is known, don’t risk your main save. The codes, once tested, are on Cheats.
- Back up saves. Turn on cloud saves (PS Plus on PS5, automatic on Xbox) so a missable trophy doesn’t cost you a full replay.
- Avoid spoilers. Story trophies are usually hidden on PSN. Lists that show them all before launch are fake.

FAQ
Before you ask
Does GTA 6 have a platinum trophy?
Not confirmed until the list is out. GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 both have one; GTA IV, from before PS3 platinums were common, does not.
How many trophies are in GTA 6?
Unknown. Viral “58 trophies” screenshots have never been confirmed. The real count appears when the stores add the list, usually a few days before launch.
When will the GTA 6 trophy list be revealed?
Trophy and achievement lists usually show up in the store data a few days before launch, then trophy sites pick them up within hours. For GTA 6 that points to the week of November 12, when preload opens.
Do cheats disable trophies in GTA 6?
Not known until launch. In GTA 5, a cheat turns trophies and achievements off for the rest of that session; RDR2 does the same for many cheats. See Cheats.
Are Xbox achievements the same as the PS5 trophies?
Rockstar uses the same list on both, with trophy grades on PlayStation and Gamerscore on Xbox. A base Xbox game ships with up to 1,000 Gamerscore.
